Davis Bros Pizza Inc in East Peoria

This use to be the best pizza in town. Was a fan back before it moved from original location. But service has gotten lousy and pizzas are a hit or miss. Cannot get two pizzas to come out at same time, slow enough one pizza eaten before second even comes out. Last 2 trips were total disaster, enough so we won't be back.

Always have great pizza ... quality is very good and never varies.

This place is love it or hate it pizza. I lean towards the hate it side. You should consider giving it a try and seeing what you think. I know a lot of people of both opinions.

In our party of 9, 2 orders were wrong. All the orders came out at different times and we were forced to go ahead and eat or the pizza would have been cold. Will not be coming back.

14" supreme with extra cheese was great.

We go there because it's my husband's favorite pizza and it was his birthday. The service is always wonderful, many of the wait staff have been there a long time, which is nice. We prefer this one over Driftwood in CC. They can get really busy so take note and plan accordingly. They do have a lot of seating and a back room for parties.

My husband just picked up the most pathetic pizza I have ever seen or tasted. We order a Supreme with extra cheese. Sorry won’t be going back after 50 years of eating Davis Bros Pizza

I gave 5 stars but it was a 10 in my book! Delicious food and staff was very friendly and helpful. Will definitely be back. I recommend this to everyone who hasn't been there or anyone!

Tried for the first time finally and will never go back. Was tasteless, lacking cheese even though asked for extra, crust was barely done and the waitress was clueless and took 20 minutes to get our drinks. Was not busy at all...now I know why. We will definitely stick with Driftwood which in our opinion is the best around.

Friendly staff, plenty of room for a large party if needed and the pizza is light and delicious.

I went there for my sons birthday dinner and they messed all of our pizzas up. We had to wait an hour before they even brought us our pizzas. And when they did bring them they were wrong. And we didnt want to say anything because we didnt want to have to wait any longer. So we just ate them and left and that is my sons favorite pizza place.

As a kid my parents had Pinochle night on Friday and it was special for us kids because it meant Pizza night from Davis Brothers pizza, we're talking 55 years ago! Then last year I took a road trip to Peoria to visit family I had not sean in years and my aunt suggested Davis Brothers for lunch, I was so sosurprised that they were still around and even more surprised that the pizza was the same and just as fantastic as I remembered. Flash forward to this week, my parents are now in their 80s and stuck at home due to the virus so I ordered Pizza delivered to California as a surprise, they were so excited to get it and raved about how it was so great and brought back fond memories, especially since Ronny Davis was one of my dad's best friends growing up. I can't recommend this Davis Brothers pizza enough, packaging was perfect and shipping was fast. Try it!!! I just wished they shipped to Mexico lol

Davis brothers is always a great place to go whether you're eating an or carrying out. The pizza is wonderful and unique. It is a bit different than other pizzas but that's part of the reason why it is so good. We've been going to Davis brothers all my life. We have family gatherings there and I also just get pizza from there. The workers down there always friendly

Amazing servers and food! The highlight of the trip was when I saw a man that looked exactly like John Wilkes Booth! Definayky recommend to any pizza fans!

Had 6 pm reservation ordered around 6:30 and finally got our pizza at 8:00 never again

Love.. love their pizza!! My only issue was the salad bar. They've downsized it and the lettuce was very old and brown looking. If you're going to offer specials that include the salad..b nice if it looked appetizing. Otherwise... we'll definitely b back for the pizza.

I'm not really a fan of thin-crust pizza, but the taste is good enough to outweigh that drawback. The interior is nothing to write home about, but it's comfortable and they serve beer and wine. Worth a try.

This place is Davis Bros Pizza in name only. The food is nothing like it used to be. This was pizza to us growing up. Back before there was a Pizza Hut, Domino’s, Papa John’s, or any other pizza place in the area, Davis Bros was it and it used to be great. But over time the quality and service have suffered. Worst is the attitude of the women running the place. If you get a pizza with burnt crust, old stale toppings, or one swimming in stanky green pepper just because they want to be rid of it, Oh well. That’s your problem

Thin crust pizza with no red sauce ...must be an acquired taste

Nice comfy pizzeria. The plus side is they have a bar with a variety of drinks. The popular choice seems to be the Tex-Mex pizza. Pic below. The place seems to have been around since 1948 so you gotta believe they are good. Not a very large menu. Simplicity probably makes this place nice.

The BEST PIZZA..been eating it for over 40 years. BUT restaurant is soo run down, dirty, and very poorly managed. Owner lives in Texas and makes very rare visits,and obviously doesn't care how nasty place is or how awful it is run. It is a pricey pie, customers should be treated better.

Been awhile since we were here because we live out of the area but the pizzas were just as good as the last time we were there I was surprised that they weren't that busy for eight o clock on a Saturday night service was fast and friendly and the price was reasonable will definitely stop back in when we are in the area

One of a kind local favorite. Pizza cut into bite size pieces. No over powering sauce and ingredients seasoned just right. Priced very reasonably.

Just sat in this place for and hour and asked about our pizza order and was told by the waitress it hadn't even been started. POOR SERVICE. WONT EVRE GI BACK HERE. GO TO CREVE COEUR !!!!

Best pizza around.

I walked in was standing there for a good five minutes before walking to the bar. Not like they were busy only one table. Didn’t even say hi rude point 1 Ask how long does it take to cook she said twenty minutes I asked can you have someone bring it up only work a few doors down. Rudely she said we don’t deliver rude point 2. Not like i was asking her to send it miles away. I won’t go there. Hope you won’t either

Have been going here since I was a child. Still the same unassuming, unpretentious, casual atmosphere ( they have added some items to the menu and now they give you little plates ) when you've been away and return its nostalgic like coming home . It's still "original recipe", great pizza. Wonderful people !!

Good pizza at a good price

First time there, was a very thin cracker type crust, sauce was good, but on a tip from the waitress I ordered xxx cheese. The pizza was cheesy busy anywhere else a xxx cheese order would be too much (and I love cheese). I would thit just a standard pizza without the xxx order would be almost cheese less. It was good and I'm sure they have their faithful followers, but for me it was good but nothing to get excited over.
